Cinnamon Sun (FKA Davy Simony) is a Cairns based Reggae/Indie/Hip-hop/Alt-pop, multi-instrumentalist musician. With influences that span from Angus & Julia Stone to Fat Freddy’s Drop, his work is defined by his grounded and heartfelt style of songwriting. Live performances are not to be missed: boasting the powerful energy of a ‘one-man-band,’ Simony takes to guitar, vocals, synth, foot percussion (stomp box & tambourine) and live looping.

Through years of releasing music, touring nationally and internationally (Europe, America, Japan), playing big festival shows (most recently Earth Frequency 2022), getting regular spins on Triple J and opening for acts such as Tash Sultana and Daryl Braithwaite, Davy has certainly made quite the name for himself.

With three EP’s under his own name, and five Singles under the new name, Cinnamon Sun, a strong following across Australia, and an Album in the pipeline, the future looks promising for this young artist!
