CLASSICAL SOIREE SERIES #3

Join Violinist Kirtley Leigh, Cellist William Howard (& musical friends throughout the series) in an intimate Classical Soirée that celebrates the poignancy and beauty of chamber music at its finest.

In this ongoing Sunday series, we bring you beautiful classical music as penned by composers Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Elgar, Debussy, Puccini, Verdi, and more!

Chamber Music is an art form that originated in the drawing rooms & parlors of stately homes in ‘La Belle Epoch’, as a way to socialize, sharing exquisite music experiences with friends and family in an intimate setting where the musicians were able to be “close up and personal”, bringing a special quality to each performance. Scores paired down to a few musicians, each soloists in their own right.

Here at Cairns’ own home of music, Elixir Music House, join us in recreating this intimate experience. We begin each soirée with a cocktail hour at 4pm, ticket entry price with optional pre order platter.

There are 5 concert soirées to choose from, each featuring classical stars  and gorgeous music.

Come chill with your glass of wine  or bubbly champagne , nibble on a grazing platter, and socialize with friends and fellow classical music lovers, before enjoying a late afternoon soirée of intimate chamber music at its best. That’s a perfect Sunday!
